My Ideal Autumn Playlist

This is my third blog post as part of the Blogtober with BOA challenge that was set by Louna from Bursts of Autumn.

One of my top passions is music. As an avid lover of the melodic auditory media form, I have compiled a playlist on Spotify of my favourite autumnal songs. These include songs with autumn in the title or songs that mention autumn in the lyrics, those that have September, October or November in the titles and those that are perfect for Halloween or Thanksgiving (even though I celebrate neither). I have embedded music videos and audio clips of each song wherever I could find them.

Forever Autumn (different versions by Vigrass and Osbourne, Justin Hayward and Gary Barlow with or without War of the Worlds narration by Richard Burton or Liam Neeson and a really cool N-Trance remix)

ABBA – When All Is Said and Done (due to the line, “Deep inside, the both of us can feel the autumn chill.”). I have also included the Pierce Brosnan and Meryl Streep version from the Mamma Mia! film.

Earth, Wind and Fire – September

Carole King – It Might As Well Rain Until September

Steps – September Sun

Green Day – Wake Me Up When September Ends

Alessia Cara – October

Amy Winehouse – October Song

Gabrielle Aplin – November

Gorillaz – November Has Come

Guns N’ Roses – November Rain

Wyclef Jean – Gone Till November
